The Open hearts for me is the best colleges in Miami, the program is excellent. To concern the teachers, I think they do their job very well. I was so glad to come in school everyday because my teacher is amazing. I learned fast and understood everything thanks to her.
Also my host family was exceptional especially because they lived in tower II, it’s convenient. My host family has sense of respect and they are generous. Only negative point is the food. It’s a Colombia family and I ate chicken and rice most of the time. My French food miss me so much!
In general, I’m not complain, I’m very lucky about everything. Host family perfect, teacher amazing and activities very relaxing.

It was extremely convenient to live at the same building as school. Apartments are pretty comfortable. It wasn’t very good that I have lived with the girl from my country. It makes chance to speak English less.
Out of school activities are organized very good. I visited entertainment parks, the gator park and some other places with Daniel’s help!

I spent a great time in this school and I was happy with my classmate and the teacher. Macarena and Manon was the best, I’m so glad to had Macarena teacher in intermediate 2. Open hearts was one of the best opportunities that I have had in my life. I feel that I enjoyed each minute I spent here. You have in your staff wonderful people that make us feel comfortable, and welcome to be in the school. It is not only teachers, I think that the chemistry between students flow very well too.

I think that Open Hearts has an excellent method to teach English, with a wide range of activities, additional to book exercises, that made the process of learning more easy and funny for me. Open hearts also has a good staff of teachers, that always help us and answer all of our questions.
The only thing I don’t like is the new rule about coming late. I understand that you need to be very strict with the attendance to class specially for those students that are here with a student visa but we are all adults and I agree if you put me as “not attented”, but I disagree with the new rule that you can’t enter to the classroom.

The location of the school is perfect for students (near everything). The staff of the school is welcoming and very friendly The teacher help us to improve our English and their methods works. The different activities proposed by the school are very entertaining and not expensive at all.
The student residence couldn’t be closer to the school (which makes it easier). Nothing disappointed me in this experience and if I had to do it again I would not hesitate.

I’ve been in other English School. In fact I think the Open Hearts is an excellent opportunity to learn and improve my English. I’d like the classes structure and the teachers staff because they are professional and exigent with the students. I’d like the evaluation system and the materials that support the lesson.
Sometimes I felt uncomfortable with some students who didn’t effort to learn and stay here like a vacation.
In this situation the teacher need to repeat many times the lessons which we learned last days.

I came for 12 weeks to the school and I had a really good time. The school is located in a good place and the facilities are fine. The student residence is on the same building and that is just perfect. The classes are so interesting that you feel the time is too short, even if you study for a lot of time. At first, I had doubts about the way used for the school.
But finally, I love it. My teacher was amazing and my classmates were funny and nice persons. These three weeks I have learned too much about all. Vocabulary, grammar, be comfortable when I speak loud, make friends… I love English, so it’s important to me learn in this way. I really enjoy this experience although I’d like it was longer.

everything you might want. Professional teachers able to involve you in
learning English, good material such as films and articles to work with
and many activities outside the class like trips to NY and Orlando and

I could define this experience here, in Open Hearts Language Academy, one of the
best and interesting experience in my life. I’ve felt here during 6
weeks as part of the community and not just as a “stranger” because of
the kind treatment of everyone.
On the other hand, it’s true that for me as Spanish speaker is difficult to practice English when you know most of those around you speak Spanish, even sometimes when you ask in English they answer back in Spanish.
According to the staff residence, I am surprise of the efficiency when solving any problem.

The school is very good and has good teachers like Alvaro. I was in the class advance1, but, think that for me it was to much difficult. In fact I have problems with verbs, vocabulary and base grammatical skills and in this class we did complex arguments like: wishes, regrets, future perfect continuos, mixed conditional.
I wish I had taken a more simply class. But the experience in total was very good. The residence has an exccelente location, with a lot of confort, clean and well keept.

I really love my staying here in Open Hearts because of the warm treatment that all the staff gives to the students, when for the first time, I felt like family, you received me with a lot of love and I appreciate that. The only thing that I didn’t like was the rule with the time I think that for the long-term students is sometimes hard because of any reason been here on time, you should give half an hour and at 9:30 or 11:30 close the doors. To finish I want to say thank you for everything, I will never forget you and I feel very proud of having the opportunity of been here.

Honestly, that was the best experience I have ever had. I got to know a lot of interesting people and made some friend. Staff in Open Harts is amaizing, everyone is very friendly and helpful they know the answers for all my questions and thanks to them I have never had any problems with anything I knew that I could have asked them for everything and that they do their best to help me. My teacher Macarena – is a great teacher for me, she explained everything very clearly and with a lot of pacience sometime . She knows how to connect study with fun and thanks to her time on the classes went very fast. I found very interesting activities offered by the school – in this place no one could be bored.
My host family – very nice people Beatriz carried about me a lot, I could have asked her for everything and she always helped me, and the atmosfere was great I felt at their house very comfortable and safe.

In my opinion the class is good, the teachers are friendly. I like Miami because my city hasn’t beach and I like beach. Here I met people of a lot countries and to speak with them.
I try speak in English and I learn English.
The apartment is good I feel that I stay at home. The activities that open hearts do are very interesting and I like the activities.

It’s finished!
We have to leave Miami tomorrow and I’ll keep only wonderful things about the classes, teachers, staff, host families, etc. The program was very nice and I’ve meet a lot of new friends.

First, here what I appreciated a lot when I arrived was people, really friendly. My host family was really great, everyday she was waiting for me at home to bring me somewhere and it was like my own family. We had a nice teacher also but lessons were too many long.
Then about activities, I loved Orlando, it was awesome! Amazing. I liked the beach and the malls here. Moreover, Joel is a great organizator, who’s always avalible for students. And students from everywhere are really nice here.

My classes were very good, they were fun but at the same time we learned a lot. I really liked my teacher, Alvaro he knows how to make a class to be fun. We also had a lot of facilities, when we had a question about anything, like public transportation or trips we could always ask Joel and he would give us the answer. I had a really good time at open Hearts.

To live in Miami is one experience very nice because I know more friends. The buildings are biggest and tall, but I lived in the first floor. I went to the pool and jacuzzy every day because I relaxed there. The view is also nice, because I saw the river, other buildings, boats… My teacher is very funny and her class was more interesting for me. To go to Miami was the opportunity really beautiful because I went to the Bahamas cruise. The Bahamas’s beach are really beautiful. It’s a dream for me. I learn speak English and travel alone.

My experience at the school has been great, since I arrieved I have met lots of new people, I have enjoyed a lot becaused I wouldn’t think that I would find so nice friends. I have been to the Key West, and also to the Bahamas, where I enjoyed a lot. I have also been to the beach a every day I went to the swimming pool of the hotel.
I am so happy and I don’t want to go back it’s amazing how I met these new friends and I hope we will keep the contact it has been a very nice experience and I’m sure I will never forget it.

I loved this trip, everything was nice, the host family, the activities, classes…
The classes were very dynamic, we played a lot of game and in the same time we practiced english the activities were really amazing, It wasn’t boring. The relationship with teachers and friends was very simpatico.
