OHLA Welcomes Julie Misky

OHLA Schools is pleased to introduce Julie Miskey, the new Academic Leader at OHLA Tampa – Welcome Aboard Julie !!!

Julie is originally from Moscow, Russia. She moved to the US in 1998, and lived in different states, before finally settling in Tampa, FL. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages (English) and a Master’s Degree in Linguistics (Moscow State Linguistic University), as well as a certificate in TESOL. Julie speaks 3 languages: English, Russian and conversational Spanish.

She has more than 10 years of teaching experience as an ESL teacher. She had taught English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at Hillsborough Community College for 6 years and at University of South Florida for 2 years. She also has taught at other language schools. She has a solid educational foundation and a passion for education.

Julie is married and has 2 children. In her free time, she likes to play tennis and travel to explore new places with her family.

Her motto is “Success is a journey, not a destination”.
